If you are on this page, chances are you’ve heard about Tieks and are on the fence about whether you should buy them or not.

I was in your shoes (pun intended).😉 I discovered Tieks around 2015 when I was in my last year of college. I was working part-time and wanted a pair, but I couldn’t afford it at the time.

I never stopped thinking about them though. Pinterest helped them stay on my radar too by showing up in my feed. I had mentioned it to my wonderful fiance (now wonderful husband) and had no idea he would be surprising me with my first pair for my 27th birthday (2019). He bought me Cream Tieks which are a perfect neutral color to go with any outfit. I have now owned Tieks for five years and want to share my thoughts on them.

Review About Tieks:

Tieks shoes are all about blending comfort with style. They’re made from top-notch leather and have this cool foldable design that makes them easy to carry around. With a cushioned insole and flexible sole, they mold to your feet, giving you all-day comfort without skimping on looks. Plus, they come in several colors and patterns, so whether you’re into classic shades or something a bit more daring, you’ll find a pair that fits your vibe perfectly.

But it’s not just about looks and comfort, Tieks are high-quality shoes that are built to last. They’re crafted with care, so you can count on them to hold up over time. Tiek shoes are made from 100% premium, soft, patent full-grain Italian leather. They also come in vegan styles as well. Every time you order a pair, you can expect a beautiful “Tiek Blue” box, a decorative flower, a reusable nylon tote, a small pouch to store Tieks, and a handwritten note.

The brand receives high marks for customer service, offering a solid return policy and helpful support. Whether you’re heading to work, a casual hangout, or a night out, Tieks are a great choice for versatile footwear, as well as being a statement piece that won’t let you down.

I’ve always been a flats kind of gal. Anytime I’m in heels it’s a problem, so I only wear wedges. I love flats! I was drawn to Tieks because I love bright colors and they have a great line of colorful shoes to choose from. Over the past five years, I have owned California Navy, Mustard Yellow, Tiek Blue Patent, Fuchsia, Cardinal Red, Cream, and Matte Black. My favorite pair are the Tiek Blue shoes because of the shiny coating and the gorgeous turquoise blue ("Tiek Blue Patent") color. I have kept all my Tieks, except for the Cream pair, because I wore them all the time and they definitely took a beating.

How Do They Fit?

Tieks are pretty much true to size. I have a wide-toe box and am a size 10/11, depending on the shoe. I buy size 10 in Tieks. They mold to my feet and are comfortable to wear.

What’s the Best Occasion for Tieks?

Tieks are so versatile, I love that they can be both casual and formal shoes. Especially for how expensive they are, I want to be able to be able to wear them anywhere. I wore them on our honeymoon, and I wear them mostly to church and work.

Should You Wear Socks with Tieks?

I always wear socks with my Tieks. My feet can sweat if they are bare and touching the inner leather. So I wear these socks to help control the moisture, (and that way my shoes don’t smell!).

How To Care For Tieks

I use a microfiber cloth and some leather polish to give my shoes a little cleaning now and then. My only complaint is that they do tend to scuff near the bottom of the toe and heel area.

Next Tieks on My Wishlist:

  • White Lotus. For the longest time they didn’t have just plain white, they only had cream and Diamond White Croc (I don’t like alligator/snakeskin prints)
  • Cool Grey. Another neutral color that can go with anything
  • Chestnut. A beautiful orange/brown color perfect for fall outfits

What Are the Pros and Cons?

Pros:

  • Great color options
  • True to size
  • Free shipping
  • Foldable so easy to pack when traveling
  • Comfortable
  • Mold to your feet

Cons:

  • High price point ($185-$315)
  • No discounts available
  • Prone to scuffing
