How to Make an Email Signature Line with Canva
Jump To RecipeCanva, in my opinion, is the greatest tool of all time for content creators. The versatility and ease of use it offers make it a must use tool for anyone looking to create visually appealing content. I’ve personally used Canva for several personal and professional projects, ranging from personal announcements to professional documents, and it has never disappointed.
For instance, when my husband and I were ready to share the exciting news of our pregnancy, we wanted to create an announcement that was both special and unique. Canva provided us with the perfect platform to do so. The array of templates available allowed us to customize our announcement to reflect our style and personality, making it a memorable keepsake for our family and friends.
But Canva’s usefulness extends far beyond just personal projects. When it came time to plan parties, I turned to Canva to create invitations that were both theme-appropriate and personalized. The process was incredibly simple, and the results were stunning. The same goes for our resumes. In today’s competitive job market, a well-designed resume can make all the difference. Canva’s professional resume templates helped us stand out, giving us the edge we needed. We both received compliments on our creative-looking resumes!
Another feature I love about Canva is creating scripture verse cards, inspiring quotes and stickers. These are perfect for adding a personal touch to gifts or for sharing inspirational messages with others.
I also use Canva in my blog for various projects, like designing Pinterest pins, and YouTube thumbnails, which are essential tools for driving traffic and engagement in the digital space. Canva has 20,000 templates (and counting) for email signatures alone!
Recently, I wanted to enhance my email signature to look more professional as well as aesthetically pleasing. My old email signature was lackluster. I initially tried using a template from a dedicated email signature website, which offered several s. However, to access the premium features, I would have had to pay $69.60 per year. This led me to wonder if I could achieve the same result using Canva. Lo and behold, I found that Canva offered email signature templates!
While Canva is available for free, I cannot recommend Canva Pro enough. For $119.40 per year, the premium features and tools it unlocks are absolutely worth the investment. The ability to access a larger library of templates, photos, and design elements significantly enhances the creative process. For content creators and bloggers, this is especially valuable. It allows you to produce high-quality content consistently, which is crucial for building and maintaining a professional online presence.
In the world of professional blogging, first impressions matter. A boring email signature simply won’t do if you want to stand out and be taken seriously. Canva not only helps you create a visually appealing signature but also allows you to add important elements such as your website URL. This small addition can drive more traffic to your site, increasing your visibility and potentially leading to more opportunities.
Canva Pro offers endless possibilities for content creation. Whether you’re working on a personal project or looking to elevate your professional brand, Canva provides the tools you need to succeed. From pregnancy announcements to professional email signatures, it has proven time and again to be an invaluable resource. Investing in Canva Pro is a decision you won’t regret, as it opens up even more creative possibilities and helps you achieve your content creation goals.
Here is how to make an eye-catching email signature line!
- Log into Canva Pro (you will need Pro to use the background remover feature).
- In the search bar, type in “email signature line” and hit enter.
- Choose from one of 20,000 templates!
- If you have a headshot photo where the background isn’t ideal, remove the background and replace it with a filled-in circle. I like a circle for my photo shape because I feel it draws in the eye.
- Add in your social networks, email address, and your website.
- Play around with different fonts and colors, but make sure it is easy to read and looks professional.
- In the top right corner, select “Share”, then select download. Make sure to check “transparent background” and pixel size 800X400 before downloading your signature line.
- Open up your email, and go to settings to change your signature line. Upload your downloaded signature line, and insert your website link into your signature line.
- After saving your signature line, make sure that you select both new emails and replies to feature your new signature line.
Note: I use Gmail, and had to play around with the size settings a few times. To prevent your email signature picture from being blurry, save it as a png file, not jpeg and increase the pixel size.
