Hey, fellow food lovers! If you're anything like me, you're always on the lookout for ways to make cooking (and cleanup) more fun and efficient. In this post I am going to be reviewing HexClad cookware – the latest game-changer that’s been getting a lot of buzz lately. Chef Gordon Ramsay endorses this cookware, and I believe he cooks with it as well. These pots and pans are blend of stainless steel and non-stick tech. Let’s dive into why HexClad might just be the perfect addition to your kitchen.

What Makes HexClad So Special?

The Best of Both Worlds

HexClad cookware is all about hybrid construction. Imagine having the durability of stainless steel combined with the ease of non-stick. The surface has a unique hexagonal pattern, thanks to some fancy laser etching. This means stainless steel peaks and non-stick valleys work together, giving you a pan that heats evenly and lets your food slide right off.

Built to Last

These pans are tough. You can even use metal utensils without worrying about damaging the surface. The combination of stainless steel and non-stick makes for a super durable, scratch-resistant surface. Plus, they can handle oven temperatures up to 500°F degrees. We bought these pans in 2022, and they are still going strong!

Easy Cleanup

What really sold me on these pots and pans is that they are dishwasher-safe! Hallelujah. No one likes scrubbing pans, am I right? The non-stick surface means food residue is easier to remove than traditional pos and pans. Sometimes running it through the dishwasher is all it takes. For stubborn food residue like eggs, I use Brillo pads to scrub off the residue and clean any stains so the hexagon coating is bright and shiny.

Versatility Galore

HexClad pots and pans work on all types of stovetops – gas, electric, ceramic, and even induction. They heat up evenly and maintain temperature well, making them great for everything from frying and sautéing to simmering and baking. These pans give you precise control over your cooking, which is a game-changer for home chefs.

Lifetime Warranty

HexClad offers a lifetime warranty. Their warranty covers cookware bought directly from their website, Costco, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. As long as the cookware was used for their intended purpose, HexClad will ship out a replacement for free. Fill out this form should you have an issue with their products. I submitted a claim with them for one of our pots - some of the hexagon coating was coming off, and they replaced it and shipped it to me for free. I haven't had any issues with any of the other pots/pans since.

What People Are Saying

People are loving HexClad cookware. Reviewers rave about the durability, the ease of use, and the non-stick performance. One big plus is that you can use metal utensils without worrying about scratches. Some people mention that the pans are a bit heavier than standard non-stick ones, but the trade-off in performance and longevity is totally worth it.

Heather, an Amazon customer says,

"Purchased this pretty little gem as a gift for my husband. He loves salmon, but no pan was holding up to the temperature he was searing it at very well. Took my chances and bought my first piece of hex-clad. It was expensive. It was beautiful. It was worth it, and I will be slowly making my way into a set. No sticking. Easy clean up. Easy set up. Comes with a warranty through Hex-Clad that you activate, and there's no going back now!"

T O’Connell, also an Amazon customer says,

"I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews — you all don’t know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these — everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan.I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long I’ve used Lodge cast iron pans. Don’t get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didn’t disappoint. Plus they’re so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze." Read more of his review here.

Honest Review

After being frustrated with cheap Teflon pots and pans, that had a short lifespan, I wanted cookware that was durable and dishwasher safe. Yes, these pans are an investment but we cook 90-95% of our meals at home, and with these pots an pans having a Iifetime warranty, we plan to keeps these, well for life! We bought the pans and pots in 2022. We use our HexClad cookware multiple times a day, every day. We pretty much use it exclusively except for when we are using our Instant Pot, or cooking on our cast iron pans. I did have to contact HexClad for one of our sauce pots, a small part of the lining of the pan was starting to peel. They replied to me promptly and sent out a replacement. My one complaint is that when cooking eggs, they do stick. Then again I use very little oil when I cook, and eggs are prone to sticking. I truly am happy we discovered this line of cookware, and I am happy with its overall performance.
